IA/U.Porto Seminar - A Model for Scheduling Telescope Observations - 09 janeiro 2019

In this talk we present a mathematical model for maximizing the number of observations made during a night with a telescope. The aim is to have sky locations photographed as many times as possible, taking into account constraints on the interval between successive observations of the same location and the time required for moving from one telescope position to the next.
