Detecting Phase Curves in the K2 Data

In this presentation, I will present our search for phasecurve modulations in the data from the K2 mission. We first tested our data reduction and models on two already published phasecurves detected with K2 data: K2-141b (Malavolta et al) and wasp 104b (T. Mocknik et al). We were able to recover a phasecurve signal in the latter, but failed to do so with K2-141b. The signal was fitted with two different phasecurve models, only one of which was able to match the published one. We also uncovered a significant modulations in the data of K2-31 b.
