Resumo

I overview the cosmological results published so far using the Dark Energy Survey (DES) Year 1 dataset, principally as described in arXiv:1708.01530. The DES analysis combines galaxy clustering and weak lensing information using three two-point functions. It provides strong constraints on the power spectrum amplitude, matter density, and equation of state parameter w. Combined with external datasets — cosmic microwave anisotropies, baryon acoustic oscillations, and supernovae luminosities — the DES Year 1 data give the state-of-the-art constraints on cosmological models and confirm the ongoing viability of the standard LCDM paradigm.
